Important commitments for all members to get the most out of this community:
• Members are here for coaching (see description below) from Lynn Morgan Carpenter, not from one another.
• Members are not here to judge, analyze, or attempt to fix one another. This is a safe place to share, and we are in support of each other.
• Members respond to each other’s posts with empathy and how we may have felt in a similar situation in our life. We do not give advice.
• Members actively participate in the community by sharing during coaching sessions and in the spaces of the community. If we want to hear from Lynn specifically, we will be sure to tag her.
• To enhance the experience, we agree to share from our hearts and be honest about how we are feeling as well as, be open to feedback and assistance and to create the time and energy to participate fully in the community.
• Members will honor silence, knowing that it offers us an opportunity to become more deeply present with ourselves and with others.
• While each member is encouraged to share progress and celebration with the community, self-promotion in this group is not allowed. Please respect one another and the community dynamic by refraining from promotional efforts within this community.
• Members agree to keep everything that is shared within our community confidential. Our community is a safe place and what is shared here stays here and only here. Confidentiality will only be broken by Lynn Morgan Carpenter if:
~ Any community member expresses the risk to injure or kill themselves.
~ Any community member is doing harm to someone else such as threatening a life.
~ Someone is being harmed (child or elder abuse, neglect)
* In these instances, Lynn will alert the authorities as needed.
• Members will treat others with kindness and respect.
• Members will take responsibility for our own experience and respect the experience of others.
• Members acknowledge that they may terminate or discontinue their membership at any time.
• Members understand that Lynn may terminate a member’s membership at any time if these commitments are broken by a member of the community.
Description of Coaching: Coaching is partnership (defined as an alliance, not a legal business partnership) between the Coach and the Member in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the member to maximize personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation/development of personal, professional, or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy/plan for achieving those goals.
